So, what the 'HA' is LAUGHTER YOGA anyway?

LAUGHTER YOGA is a little bit of PLAY mixed with

LAUGHTER that provides you with an amazing AEROBIC workout with no actual yoga poses or mats involved! 

 The Yogic part is the breath work we experience while laughing.

Why LAUGH for the health of it?

Everyone knows laughter is the best medicine ... but why???

The physical act of LAUGHTER floods our bodies with

dopamine. oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins

which are essential to combat

the stress hormones we create when we worry, are depressed or in fear.

Science has proven that the body cannot differentiate between simulated or real laughter.  Put another way, it doesn't matter if our laughter is a result of being entertained - or not!  

The act of laughing actually produces these healing chemicals!!!

In order tp produce a sufficient d.o.s.e. of your own 

dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin & endorphins 


we practice laughter for 20-30 minutes.

LAUGHTER YOGA is the only technique that allows you 

to achieve sustained hearty laughter without involving cognitive thought!

In order to get the scientifically proven benefits of laughter, to help you maintain optimal mental and physical health, one must laugh for 15 to 20 minutes and laughter should be hearty and loud and experienced on a regular basis.  We have exercises involving laughter, clapping, singing and silliness that will make this possible.

There are four steps of Laughter Yoga:

😂 LAUGHTER EXERCISES 🤣

Anyone can participate while standing, seated or laying down,

Young or old, 

without relying on humor, jokes or comedy.

25 YEARS AGO, IN 1995, DR. MADAN KATARIA AND HIS BEAUTIFUL SUPPORTIVE WIFE, MADHURI, PUT FORTH THIS WONDERFUL EXERCISE MODALITY WE KNOW AS LAUGHTER YOGA!

Laughter WORKS!!! After 5-6 sessions I was feeling better; happier; more outgoing. But it's gradual; you don't even realize it - until you don't! After those sessions I went on a vacation for 2 months. Halfway through I was feeling not so light and cheery. I had missed my laughter. Got back into it, and I'm back to light and cheery!!! Give it a try!
